The things they don't tell you about having twins... (No. 176)

Forget how do you bottle feed two babies at once.  Forget weaning tips or getting twins into a synchronised routine.  How exactly do you handle it when one twin loses a wobbly tooth and gets a visit from the tooth fairy and the other doesn't?

The books do not tell you about that.

*sigh*

My sister gets £1 from the tooth fairy and I get nothing?
Being a twin sucks.

We may or may not have been a bit late for school that day, as a result of the above.

  1. Oh Dear!! Poor little thing!!!! The Tooth Fairy hasn't visited us yet!! I'm looking forward for that phase as Bella will be 6 in May so I think this will probably happen this year!! :-) x

    1. Oh good luck! His sister has lost two teeth now but there are no signs of any of his budging at all!

  3. Oh dear! And you can't say 'Never mind, your tooth will fall out soon and eventually you will both lose the same number of teeth and get the same amount of money' because that's way too rational! My favourite was always when one child had sweets after school because it was someone's birthday in their class and it caused massive trouble with the other child. Why?! Next time you will have sweets and he won't! Grrr.

    1. Oh god the sweets after school thing! Drives me bonkers that. Fortunately they are in the same class but when their elder brother gets something there is all hell to pay. That's the trouble when they are so used to being equal in everything!
